Pilot Programme Terms & Conditions / Participant Agreement

By registering for and participating in the Explorer Labs AI-Augmented Systems Mapping Pilot (“the Programme”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Participation & Feedback: You agree to actively participate in the live workshop sessions (comprising two 2-hour interactive sessions) and provide honest, constructive feedback through our post-session surveys and 1-on-1 feedback calls to help us evaluate and improve the platform.
  2. Bringing a Project & Inputting Data: Participants are encouraged to bring a real or mock project and input their own textual data (such as reports, text-based PDFs, or notes) into the platform. You acknowledge and agree that:
    1. Data Privacy & Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that any data you upload or input complies with your employer’s policies, intellectual property rights, and confidentiality agreements. Do not upload classified, highly sensitive, or restricted information unless you are authorized to do so.
Local vs. Cloud Processing: Depending on your setup during the pilot, data processed locally (via local models) remains entirely on your machine. Any optional cloud-based language model queries (such as via Claude or OpenAI) will be transmitted to third-party API providers under standard secure protocols. Explorer Labs assumes no liability for data inputted into third-party cloud models.
  3. Intellectual Property & Usage License: Explorer Labs grants you a temporary, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the systems mapping software solely for the duration and purposes of the pilot programme. All intellectual property rights in the software, platform architecture, and underlying technology remain strictly with Explorer Labs.
  4. Recordings: Live sessions will be recorded strictly for internal review, research, and product development purposes by the Explorer Labs team. These recordings will not be distributed or made available for participants to view after the workshop.
  5. Limitation of Liability: The software is provided on an “as-is” basis for testing and pilot purposes. Explorer Labs makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted availability or error-free performance and shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your participation or use of the tool during the pilot.
