When to use it
Use this canvas once you have prioritized your key stakeholders in terms of engagement interest and level of importance using the Stakeholder Interest Matrix tool.
This tool can then be used to prioritize the key barriers and blockages preventing your stakeholder(s) from engaging in your challenge space.
Once completed, you’ll have a concrete plan of action and three ways in which you can overcome engagement reservations or barriers.
You will then be able to onboard stakeholders to get involved in addressing your sustainability challenge.
How to use it
Write down your top three barriers or blockages for this particular stakeholder. Hint: these were uncovered using the Ecosystem Stakeholder Empathy Map tool.
Next, write down three ways in which you can actively overcome these barriers or blockages.
Finally, write down the concrete actions and next steps you are willing to take to overcome the barriers or blockages currently preventing your stakeholder(s) from engaging in your sustainability challenge domain.
